Tour description provided by Viator

We invite you to visit the Old City of Jerusalem through a historical journey that includes the period of the First Temple, Second Temple, the Byzantine period, the Crusader and Islamic periods. We will end the day with the City of David, the heart of ancient Jerusalem, and the last archaeological discoveries. A unique tour with a unique message: come and learn about Jerusalem, the Center of the World... Another option is to center our visits on the Christian places such as the Holy Sepulchre, the Via Dolorosa, St Ann Church, Gethsemane, Dominus Flavit where Jesus cried over Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives. From there, we'll have a wonderful view on Jerusalem and on the Temple Mount.  We'll start our tour at 9:00 AM at the Jaffa Gate, and will end around 4.00 PM at the same place.  Lunch will be taken in the Old City with typical local food such as falafels, shawarma and so on.  Contact us to customize your tour.
The tour is a walking tour, make sure you have comfortable walking shoes. If you decide to go to the Ezekias tunnel in the City of David, you'll need to take water shoes and a flashlight to enter the water that is mid-knee high. A unique experience for all the family! If you come by car to Jerusalem, you can park by Mamila parking that is located close to Jaffa Gate. Your guide will meet you there. Our tour is a unique tour. You will learn about the three religions, the ancient history of the original Jerusalem, who built the actual walls of the Old City, the importance of the Herodian Temple and why Jesus chose the City of David to perform the miracle of the blind man.
