This is a classic Japanese-style steak house, where the meat is cooked at the counter on a teppan (iron hot plate), diced, then paired with rice, miso soup and pickles. The beef is high-grade wagyū (beef from Japanese black cattle), and priced very reasonably. We recommend ordering the chef's choice (lunch/dinner ¥4000/7000).
On the ground floor there's a counter selling menchi-katsu (メンチカツ; ¥240), deep-fried, minced-beef croquettes. You can spot the shop by the regular queue for these.
