Kagurazaka has many exclusive, extravagantly priced restaurants, but there are some attractive, affordable options, too – including several French ones. Kanda is home to some of Tokyo's most traditional restaurants in lovely old buildings, as well as come-as-you-are noodle bars and convivial izakaya (Japanese pub-eateries) packed with carousing salarymen. Both Akihabara and Jimbōchō are known for their Japanese curry cafes and other cheap places to eat.
