In Osaka, enjoy this 3-hour walking food tour in the Kuromon Market and Namba with a local guide. The Kuromon Market has supported the city's food culture for 200 years. Stroll along the waterfront of the Dotonbori entertainment district and sample local cuisine, including sashimi, wagyu, taiyaki, and more. This tour is limited to a small group of 8 travelers.
Meet your guide at Nippombashi Station around 10:45am. Head to the Kuromon Market, where you will enjoy some of the special foods. Try minced meat cutlet at the meat store, where they only sell Japanese beef called wagyu. Taste a tuna sashimi, yakitori, oden, and fresh soy milk during your stop at a tofu store. At a mearby sushi restaurant, try a sushi set with miso soup. Takoyaki, little round balls containing pieces of octopus, is a local specialty in Osaka. Then, get a taste for Japanese sweets with taiyaki.Your tour ends at the Dotonbori Bridge in the central Namba area. Take a photo with the Glico Man neon sign. Afterward, continue shopping and explore in the area around 2:00 pm.
