This is a walking tour that departs from the Fushimi Inari branch of Maikoya that is located right next to the entrance of Fushimi Inari Shrine. We are the only organization that provides guided walking tours in Fushmi Inari on a daily basis.
The tour is about 1 hour. It departs from our tea ceremony venue in Fushimi Inari and returns back to the same spot.Your tour guide is a friendly tour guide who speaks perfect EnglishThe tour includes brief information about the shinto religion, and history of Japan, meanings and symbols in the Fushimi inari Taisha, the significance of the area, famous spots at the shrine, the walk around the main gate and the go-honden shrine, explanations of the trails heading up to the top, and the way back to the train stations. This is a perfect value tour that covers so much in 1 hour.
