Flights & getting there

Kushimoto is on the JR Kinokuni line and can be reached from Kii-Tanabe (¥1140, 1½ hours) or Nachi-Katsuura (Kii-Katsuura Station; ¥500, 40 minutes). Less frequent tokkyū (limited-express) trains shave off some time (but for double the price).
