Steak in Kōbe

A reliable place for Kōbe beef served teppanyaki (grilled on a steel plate) at entry-level prices: less-expensive cuts start at ¥2500 for 80g and a daily-special premium cut at ¥5800. Steak meals come with grilled vegetables and, for ¥800, salad, rice and miso soup (free before 3pm). Look for the giant bulls just inside Chinatown's east gate.

You can also spend a lot more here, like ¥12,800 for a 120g sirloin steak (and easily three times that much). There's a 5% service charge after 5pm.
