A three day guided tour that starts with the small castle town of Tsuwano, aka ‘Little Kyoto’. Tour the historical town, castle area and site of banished Christian martyrs. Visit a tea farm to see the tea production process and try tea ceremony. Watch a traditional Japanese performance, kagura, in the Taikodano Inari Shrine grounds. The second day will be a guided tour of the World Heritage listed town of Hagi. Tour Hagi glass factory and try your hand at pottery. Take a walk to the summit of Mt Kasayama and through a camellia forest. Stroll through downtown Hagi with traditional Edo period streets. The final day will be a guided tour of Hagi-Okan, a roadway which samurai used. Visit the World Heritage Site, Shoka Sonjuku school. Take a walk around beautiful Yamaguchi countryside and visit Buddhist temples including Rurikoji.
