With this experience you will be able to play the Taiko (Japanese drum) and wear a Happi (traditional attire for workmen) and look and play the part of a Japanese drummer. You will be taught by the local Taiko group, the Turtle which is based in Fukuoka Prefecture, this group is known to perform at different venues, events, and temples as well. You will learn from the best and the end of this experience you will come out playing the taiko drum like a Japanese drummer.
You will attend a Taiko (Japanese drum) performance show at the community hostel "WeBase Hakata"and, if you are interested, put on a Happi (traditional attire for workmen) and try your hand at hitting the drum! The performance show and experience take about 1 hour.Taiko group Turtle is based in Fukuoka prefecture and offers Japanese drum performances and experiences as a form of inbound tourism for the region. They carry out performances and experiences in various places like the community hostel, dining halls as well as temples. Furthermore, they also offer performances at company events and anniversaries as well as training sessions at your company in order to strengthen the employee's teamwork. They select the teams they dispatch for performances according to the client's wishes. Their teams perform throughout the country.
