Join us on a fabulous valley trail hiking to a charming hot spring village!Dorogawa is renowned as a summer refuge for people in the Kansai area. It is located about 3 hours away by train and bus from Osaka at an altitude of 800 meters. Surrounded by beautiful nature we will enjoy a leisurely walk along Mitarai Hiking Trail before easing our fatigue in the soothing water of the hot spring bath. ItineraryThis is a typical itinerary for this productStop At: Mitarai ValleyAfter getting off at Tenkawa-Kawai bus stop we will start to hike about 2.5 hours up the valley. It is a fabulous, not too strenuous hiking trail with dynamic waterfalls and thrilling suspension bridges along the way. You can be sure to get some amazing pictures. Duration: 3 hoursStop At: Sonei Dorogawa Onsen CenterAt the end of the hiking course, we will spot the Dorogawa Onsen Center on our right. Let’s soak ourselves in the hot spring and relax before roaming the village. The streets lined with old inns evoke an atmosphere of times past. We will spend a leisurely time while taking pictures, looking at souvenirs and sipping coffee brewed with delicious mountain water. Duration: 1 hourStop At: Ryusenji TempleThe mountain ascetics of this region visit Ryusen-ji Temple in the summer season to perform meditation while standing under a water fall. The precincts surrounded by nature have a very awe inspiring atmosphere with tall cedar trees, pure water, and beautiful buildings. You can feel something mystical here. Duration: 30 minutes
