Yusuhara known as the town that is above the clouds, due to the northern area is over 1400m tall. 91% of this town is covered with trees, the wood from the trees are considered high quality that Kengo Kuma, a famous Japanese architecture, designs many home with the resources from the woods in Yusuhara. Kengo Kuma is also in charge of building the stadium that is used for the 2020 Olympic, using the woods from Yusuhara as the main structure base.
