See Kingston’s many attractions and landmarks uptown and downtown in approximately four hours. Stop for a minute, visit for a few, take pictures for a second, shop if you want to and keep on moving. It’s a very fulfilling and flexible experience where you get to know Kingston better than most natives.
You will be picked up at your hotel in Kingston. We will meet you in the lobby and provide a five minute summary of the tour, answer any questions and board the transport. Immediately upon leaving the hotel your tour guide will start providing information and history of the area and its landmarks. The first destination is a drive around downtown Kingston, where you will see historical architecture, market places, old train stations, seat of government, Courts, Main Street, major business areas, Memorials of National Heroes and major churches... and that's for starters. After downtown, which should take approximately an hour and a half, we head uptown along a route that will introduce you to our military base, libraries, play theaters, National Stadium, wealthy residences (Beverly Hills) and the largest University in the Caribbean, which was once a sugar plantation and rum factory. We then head to the Hope Botanical Gardens, the Chinese Garden and the Bob Marley Museum. Two hours later, everyone should be hungry so we top off the trip by visiting the grounds and garden of the colonial Estate of Devon House. Devon House is known for its premium ice cream with large serving portions and specialty bakery that is loaded with Jamaican meat pies (patties) and delectable sweets. Finally, you will get dropped off at your hotel and escorted into the lobby where the hotel will be informed that you have arrived back "Safe and Sound".
