Cerveteri and Tarquinia Necropolis are the most imposing in all Etruria and some of the most magnificent in the entire Mediterranean basin. You can get lost as you wander the streets of these "city of the deads", enter their tombs shaped as houses and take a trip back in time. We'll meet by Cerveteri/Ladispoli train station (very easy to get there both from Civitavecchia or from Rome). First by car we'll get to Cerveteri and visit its outstanding Necropolis. Later we'll drive to Tarquinia and visit this other amazing necropolis. Lunch time we might enjoy some local food and wine: the area is known for the Pappardelle al Cinghiale (wild boar) and Morellino red wine. After lunch we'll reach the local Etruscan Museum of Tarquinia. Mid afternoon we'll drive back to the Cerveteri/Ladispoli train station.
