Eating

The cultivated hillsides of Soave and Valpolicella aren't only given over to wine production, but also to olive groves, orchards, woodland and dairy farms. This means that you'll eat just as well as you'll drink. In particular, look out for cherries, peaches and apples, olive oil from Lake Garda, chestnuts and truffles from Monte Baldo and cheese from Monte Lessinia.
