Founded in 1638, the world's oldest casino only moved into its current palatial home in the 1950s. The building certainly wasn't lucky for composer Richard Wagner, who died here in 1883; the Museo Wagner now occupies his suite. Slots open at 11am; to take on gaming tables, arrive after 3.30pm wearing your jacket and poker face. Arrive in style with a free water-taxi ride from Piazzale Roma. You must be at least 18 to enter the casino.
