Hey everyone, me and my GF are going to Dolomites and we will stay in Cortina D´Amprezzo for 5 days. We would like to hike in this area. Do you have any recommendations for light ascents to summits in this area? Is possibble to camping in mountains?

Thank you.

I'm planning to spend 3 or 4 days days hiking around Dolomites at the end of August

I want to know where is the best place to stay as base camp to explore the area ??

I'm planning to rent car from Milan/Venice airport and drive straight to some town (Cortina d'ampezzo/Bolzano bozen/Bressanone or some other)

Any recommendations of hiking trails (something that can be done in a day, so hopefully I can do 1 o 2 per day) and you if you have a link with info about trials or blogs of Dolomites…

We'll have a couple of days for this, in August. Would probably like to take a cable car /chairlift up and then either walk around a circular route or take a scenic route back down. Could be about 4 hrs max.

I'm looking especially in the areas around Madonna di Campiglio, upper Val Cominica, Val di Peio and Val di Fassa.

Would rather avoid walking in areas where there are a lot of ski runs, if possible. Lakes might be nice, and sightings of marmots appreciated :-) But a varied walk if…

Hello!
Hope everyone’s doing great :)
Wanted some advice on my honeymoon itinerary. It may seem really hectic and packed but my fiancé and I want to see as much as possible.
I’ve been to most of the cities in our itinerary but my fiancé hasn’t.
We land into Venice from Delhi on the 23rd of December. Spend 2-3 nights there.
Take a train to Bolzano. Spend 3 nights there (day trip to Innsbruck).
This is where I’m stuck. I know we want to eventually spend 4 nights in Florence on the way back (4…

Hi everyone,

We plan a visit in Rome and around her for 6 days.

My boys are crazy about special cars, and I thought about the option of surprising them with a ride on a luxury car like Ferrari or Lamborghini for a few minutes. Does anyone know about an option of renting such a car only for a short time of one hour, or something like that? (Renting a luxury car for 24 hours will be much over our budget)

This is such a silly question but we are Australian seniors on our first trip to Europe. Our travel agent has booked us on a Trenitalia train from Civitavecchia to Florence but we have to change trains at the Rome terminal. This is a bit scarey for us so we are hoping for some advice. It’s scarey because we have been warned about the thieves and pickpockets who prey on obvious tourists - like us! We want to get off the first train and find our way to the train to Florence as independently as…

Hi there. Will be flying from LAX to Rome and l am looking for a good hotel near the airport before travelling on to Bari. I'll be pretty tired when l get to FCO and don't want to hassle with taxi drivers (l gather they gouge you on the short trip to hotels) and hotel shuttles that don't turn up.

Any recommendations?
