Day 5 Florence/Rome (1B, 1D) Continue on to the eternal city, Rome with a free afternoon to start exploring. Enjoy a traditional Roman meal for dinner.
Day 6 Rome (1B) Use a free day to explore. Opt to visit Vatican City, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain or Colosseum.
Day 7 Rome/Split (1B) Travel by train to the seaside town of Ancona. Enjoy some time here before boarding an overnight ferry to Croatia.
Day 8 Split Opt to visit the local market and gobble up some Croatian delicacies. For a little more activity, visit Marjan Hill with gorgeous views over the city or hit up some of the hiking and biking trails in the area.
