A wonderful 5-day experience to discover Apulia, Benevento and Matera. 2 nights in Lecce. Visit of the city, excursion to Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca. Visit of Alberobello and Ostuni. 1 night in Bari. Visit of the city, excursion to  Castel del Monte. 1 night in Matera with a visit. Stop in Benevento, nice town of the Roman age in the region Campania on the way back to Rome.
Day 1             ROME - LECCE Departure to Lecce by motorway with stop on the way for necessary breaks. Free time for lunch. Afternoon dedicated to discover this city, already defined as the capital of the Baroque of southern Italy; a cultural and historical center of almost 100,000 inhabitants which, in its case, hides ancient buildings of rare beauty, built in the centuries with the said "stone of Lecce":  Visit and accommodation. Day 2             LECCE – OTRANTO – S.MARIA DI LEUCA – LECCE  - B  Breakfast. Full day excursion through the said micro-region of Salento. Arrival in Otranto, easternmost municipality of the entire Italian peninsula and large Norman center in antiquity.  Free time for lunch on the way in one of the beautiful coas. lt owns and finally arrival in Santa Maria di Leuca, the most renowned tourist center of the area, which owesits fame to the wonderful position between promontories and beaches. The luxury tourism began to know Leuca at the end of the 19th century and this is noted for the incredible number of summer villas of the time. Visit and then return to Lecce and accommodation. Day 3             LECCE – ALBEROBELLO – OSTUNI – BARI  - BBreakfast. Day dedicated to know the northeastern part of Apulia, beginning with one of the most picturesque places and known in the world for its characteristic houses: Alberobello. The low local buildings with black roof shave stood up to this day and many have become luxury houses, craftshops or hotels. Visit and free lunch. In the afternoon, continue to Ostuni, the city of white houses, beautiful tourist center, alread ychosen for twenty consecutive years the place with the cleanest sea of Italy. Through the picturesque streets of the historic center and then, exit for Bari. Accommodation. Day 4 -          BARI – CASTEL DEL MONTE – MATERA - B Breakfast. Departure for Matera with stop at the sensational hill where the famous Castle of Monte arises, an optagonal building built by the King of Sicily Federico II in the 13th century and today represented in the Italian currency of 2 Euro cents. UNESCO World Heritage, the castle was a fortress, a jail and even a tomb. Visit, free lunch and continuation to Matera. The city of the "Sassi" is also UNESCO World Heritage for its old quarter which is an example of prehistoric urbanization.  Visit and accommodation. Day 5 -          MATERA – BENEVENTO - ROME - B Breakfast. Departure back to Rome with stop on the way in Benevento. Center populated by the native Sannits, Romans, Longobards and city of the Pontifical State, it presents traces of its ancient dominations among which stand the Roman Theater, the Arch of Trajan, the Church of Saint Sophia, World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO and the Cathedral. Visit and lunch at your own. Then departure to Rome End of services.
