Rome’s only two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Il Pagliaccio is Italian fine dining at its best. Chef Anthony Genovese – who was born in France to Italian parents and honed his craft in Asia – draws vivid inspiration from his eclectic background, creating dishes such as lobster with passionfruit and stracciatella (chocolate chip); oyster and green-apple granita; and a memorable take on green curry.

Diners can order á la carte or choose between a duo of tasting menus at dinner.
