Pastries in Southern Rome

Film director and Ostiense local Ferzan Ozpetek is such a fan of the pastries crafted at this 1934 pasticceria that he's known to cast them in his films. They're all stars, from the buttery crostate (tarts) to the piles of golden sfogliatelle romane (ricotta-filled pastries). Hanging out with a coffee on the sunny pavement terrace is a warm-weather delight.
