During our tour of the Colosseum Belvedere, explore the third, fourth and fifth ring of the Colosseum, the highest level of the Roman amphitheater. Come and discover one of the finest panoramic views of Rome and walk through accessible galleries and corridors. Immediately after the visit of the Colosseum you can also explore the archaeological area of the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill, the heart of the ancient city in which you find and sometimes remain all the most important buildings of ancient Rome.
With our Colosseum Top Belvedere Tour, once enter the amphitheatre you will find yourself on the first level and then you will go through the first and second levels to avoid the crowd by accessing the VIP door that will be unlocked in front of your eyes, having access to the best views of the Colosseum. At the third level, our guide will give you plenty of time to take the views from the northwest side of the stadium, almost directly over the "Winner's Gate". From here you can see the Colosseum on one side and outside the Roman Forum on the other. The real show starts when you leave the third level to climb up again and reach the fourth, lifting to the top third of more than 15 meters. That means 49 feet above the third ring. The fourth and fifth tiers were targeted at the lower classes of Roman citizens. In particular, the fifth was destined for the plebeians, what they would call the proletariat today. The fourth level was for small traders and artisans. The third ring was home to the richest merchants and businessmen. The second and first ring  have been booked for knights, patriots, nobles and senators. The senators and people of the Imperial Court were so close to the arena that architects had to build a fence to protect them from unexpected jumps from the fierce beats used during the games. But let's go to the highest rings. The view from here is just amazing. Breathtaking. You can see from here all the ancient city of Rome, with the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, you can admire the interior of the Colosseum with a wonderful bird-view perspective. You will be surprised at how big the Colosseum is in fact compared to apparently from the top. After your Colosseum tour is complete, you will descend from the special third, fourth and fifth levels, and re-enter the regular access areas of the Colosseum. From here, you can choose to stay inside the Colosseum or leave with our guide. Those who choose to leave with our guide will be lead out of the Colosseum and across the road to the Roman Forum. Here, our guide will ensure you gain entrance to the Roman Forum through the special group entrance.
