Flights & getting there
From central Amalfi, continue east on the main coastal road (SS163) for 1.4km before doing a hairpin turn onto SS373; street signs indicate Ravello. Vehicles are not permitted in Ravello’s town centre.
Consider taking a bus (or walking) from Amalfi to Ravello instead of driving, as parking can be painful. If you do drive up, there is a central car park under Piazza Duomo (€2.50 to €3.50 per hour). Alternatively, head for the underground car park at the Auditorium Oscar Niemeyer (€2 per hour, €10 for eight hours).
A taxi from Ravello to Amalfi costs around €31. Always agree on the price with the driver before getting in the taxi.
From the bus stop on the eastern side of Amalfi's Piazza Flavio Gioia, SITA Sud runs up to 27 buses daily to Ravello (€1.30, 25 minutes).
