Pistoia's foodie street is pedestrian-only Via del Lastrone, lined with cafes, wine bars and traditional restaurants serving carcerato (a type of offal), frittata con rigatino (omelette with salt-cured bacon), farinata con cavalo (chickpea pancake with cabbage), migliacci (fritters made with pig's blood) and other local specialities. End with berlingozzo, a sweet traditionally served with a glass of local Vin Santo.
