Day 1 Rome We highly recommend arriving a day or two earlier to experience all that this amazing city has to offer. Included Activities: Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting
Day 2 Rome/Rapallo Stop at Pisa to check out the Leaning Tower en route to the beautiful Italian Riviera. Included Activities: Leaning Tower of Pisa Visit Transport: Train (3.00 hour(s)) Train (0.50-1.50 hours)
Day 3 Rapallo Walk the coastal path between Riomaggiore and Monterosso or opt to take the train. Visit charming, colourful towns along the way with an included national park pass and unlimited train ticket. Included Activities: National Park Pass and Unlimited Train Ticket
Day 4 Rapallo/Nice Continue to the French Riviera and enjoy an included excursion to Monaco. Transport: Train (5.00 hour(s)) Train (0.50 hour(s)) Train (0.50 hour(s))
Day 5 Nice Enjoy a free day to take a cycling tour, go for a hike along the coast, or take a day trip to nearby beaches and villages.
Day 6 Nice/Barcelona Visit the old Gothic Quarter with its maze of dark streets, historic cathedral, medieval buildings, bars, and cafés. Stroll Las Ramblas, a large tree-lined pedestrian boulevard perfect for people watching and window shopping. Day 7 Barcelona Get out and explore all that Barcelona has to offer, or choose to journey further afield to the surrounding beaches and countryside to get a true taste of Catalan life. Additional Notes: Today, new travellers may join you for the rest of the adventure. You are welcome to join them at a group meeting this evening, followed by an optional dinner. Day 8 Barcelona/Madrid Enjoy an orientation walk along Las Ramblas. Take some time to visit the Gaudí buildings, or explore the Gothic Quarter before boarding an afternoon train to Madrid. Included Activities: Orientation Walk Transport: Train (2.00-3.00 hours)
Day 9 Madrid Enjoy Spain's beautiful capital on an orientation walk. Free time to visit its many sites, from art museums to sprawling squares. Enjoy a night out with the group. Madrid's nightlife is world renowned! Included Activities: Orientation Walk
Day 10 Madrid/Granada Full day of free time before transferring to Granada in the afternoon. Transport: Local bus (4.20 hour(s), 420km)
Day 11 Granada A trip to Granada wouldn't be the same without a night on the town; the city is filled with trendy tapas bars and has a lively music scene. Day 12 Granada/Seville Journey to Seville and explore this thriving university town. Opt to visit the Real Alcázar, a Moorish palace, or take in an evening flamenco show. Included Activities: Orientation Walk Transport: Train
Day 13 Seville/Lagos Cross into Portugal, and enjoy the Algarve Coast. Transport: Train (4.00-5.00 hours)
Day 14 Lagos Spend the day on the Algarve with free time for hiking, water activities, or chilling out oceanside.
Day 15 Lagos/Lisbon Take a train up the coast to Portugal's vibrant capital, and enjoy an orientation walk. Free time to visit Cristo Rei for sweeping views of the area, check out the monuments of the Belem neighbourhood, or relax in a café. Indulge in the town's great nightlife.
