Pizzeria da Attilio

Pizza in Toledo & Quartieri Spagnoli

Its more-famous rivals might get much of the international press, but this come-as-you-are veteran fires some of the best pie in town. Lording over the front-room pizza oven is pizzaiolo Attilio Bachetti, whose grandfather (also Achille Bachetti) opened the place in 1938. Must-try pizzas include the sun-shaped Carnevale, the eight points of its crust filled with ricotta.
