Welcoming visitors with its bright front terrace and soundtrack of traditional Sicilian music, this intriguing newcomer specialises in creative, locally sourced dishes built around sometimes obscure ingredients, with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Everything is beautifully presented, from faux cannoli filled with anchovy-cauliflower cream, to lentil soup with wild fennel and caper leaves, to spit-roasted rabbit with tuna 'bacon’.

Some may find it a bit precious, while others will appreciate the enthusiasm of the young chef-owners, old friends who genuinely enjoy sharing their passion for bringing traditional Sicilian ingredients into the 21st century.
