The Quad’s elite status and aristocratic palazzi make for some of Milan’s most handsome and luxurious hotels. Via Manzoni, originally known as Corsia del Giardino because it was lined with gardens, leads north to the public garden, another area colonised by high-end hotels. Cheaper hotels start to proliferate north of Porta Venezia along Corso Buenos Aires with most of the cheapest places clustered around the Stazione Centrale.
