Milan’s Quadrilatero d’Oro, or ‘Golden Quad’, is centred on Via Monte Napoleone and bounded by Via Manzoni, Via della Spiga and Via Sant’Andrea. Beyond the Quad itself, Via Verri, Corso Matteotti and Corso Venezia are also now considered very shiny, if not golden. The latter continues northeast to Corso Buenos Aires, a far more workaday high-street with big name chains and plenty of young Milanese browsing its kilometres of shops.
