Sleeping

Gela is not the most pleasant place to spend the night, but in a pinch you'll find a few B&Bs clustered near the archaeological museum and the Greek fortifications of Capo Soprano. Otherwise, consider pushing on towards Licata (32km) or Caltagirone (40km), which are more attractive for an overnight stay.

Eating

The lungomare (waterfront drive) and Corso Vittorio Emanuele are the two best places to browse for a bite, offering everything from pizza, snacks and gelato to more substantial seafood meals.

Drinking & Nightlife

Gela's best drinking spots are concentrated along Lungomare Federico II di Svevia and Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
