Fun class where you will learn the basics for making Italian sweets while relaxing in an old farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside where Leonardo da Vinci found his inspiration and tasting the best Chianti wines that we make. You will be able to chose between learning to make modern or ancient sweets. Some of the things you will be able to chose from are Tiramisu, Sicilian Cannoli, Chocolate Cake, Limoncello Cake, Gelato.At the end you will be able to sit down and taste everything you made together with our wines.
Meet at the main train station in Florence, where a guide will pick you up in a car. You will then begin the trip towards the Tuscan countryside, where Leonardo da Vinci found his inspiration, seeing characteristic cypresses, vineyards, and olive groves along the way. Proceed towards the host farm, where you will be greeted by resident animals and welcomed with a prosecco appetizer. Together with a pastry chef, begin preparing the Italian sweets. The class will take place in a professional kitchen with ingredients from nearby farms. Chose between learning to make modern or ancient sweets, such as tiramisu, Sicilian cannoli, chocolate cake, limoncello cake, and gelato. Halfway through the lesson, take a wine-tasting break.When the cooking's done, you will be able to sit down and taste everything you made paired with Chianti wines. After having a nice expresso, a driver will take you back to the meeting point in Florence.
