Depart in the early morning from Florence and travel south into the Chianti Region. Visit first the Medieval town of San Gimignano, a UNESCO world heritage site. Enjoy some free time to visit the village with its splendid squares, palaces, churches and the magnificent towers. Wander around and discover its hidden places, passing by Piazza della Cisterna where you will be enchanted by its architecture and also do not forget to try the best gelato in the world. Continuing to Piazza del Duomo, you may visit the Cathedral and if you wish you can climb the "Torre Grossa" a real tower, the only one still open. After all the steps the view form the top will leave you speechless. Continue your day discovering the splendid area of the Chianti Classico. Stop by a local winery and get the chance to taste some local wine accompanied by a delicious Tuscan typical lunch consisting of pasta, cold meat, different type of cheeses and local pastries. After lunch you will stop by the Fortress of Monteriggioni, very famous thanks to Italian poeat Dante Alighieri who named it into his masterpiece The Divine Comedy. Here, during your free time you may visit the small church or take a walk on the walls (depending on season and on opening times), or you may just take a coffee in the main square. Afterwords is the time for Siena where upon arrival you'll first have a guided walking tour with our expert and knowledgeable guide. You will learn the history, the traditions and culture of this stunning city. Passing by the main road and monuments you'll reach Piazza del Campo famous all over the world for the "Palio Horse Race" and you'll finish the tour at the Siena Cathedral, that will enchant you. After your guide will give some free time and you can decide to enter the Cathedral (admission fees not included) or you can walk around making the most of your free time. After Siena you'll walk back to the bus and start the ride back to Florence where the tour will end.
