Aeolian Islands in detail

Health & insurance

A trip to the Aeolians inevitably involves time at sea, either on hydrofoils, ferries or tour boats. Seasickness can make this difficult and at times downright nauseating. If you do suffer from seasickness, locals recommend you sit at the back of the hydrofoil/boat and eat something dry and salty. If that doesn't work, ask a pharmacist for qualcosa per mal di mare (something for seasickness).
