Buses to surrounding towns leave from the bus station on Via Dante, near the train station.
From Milan, take the A1 motorway and then the A21 to Cremona. The A21 proceeds north to Brescia. The SP415 heads northwest to Crema and on to Milan.
Driving through the old town is a no-no – obey signs that talk of a 'zona limitato' or you'll be captured on camera and forced to pay a €120-plus fine. Street parking becomes easier as you move away from the centre, and there is huge car-park space near the bus station.
The train station receives trains from Milan (from €7.30, one to two hours, several daily) and Brescia (€5.50, one hour, hourly).
