Discover Rome differently. Climb the elegant Spanish Steps bowed down to the Trinità dei Monti's church and the Barcaccia fountain, then explore the underground ruins beneath the Trevi Fountain and retrace the hidden acqueduct Virgo, the Virgin water
The tour begins with a full explanation of the Spanish steps area, including the famous fountain of the Barcaccia. Then you will stroll through the alleys of the city, while your guide will show you important palaces and squares until you get in front of the enchanting Trevi fountain. The legend says that your wishes come true by tossing a coin in this magic water. The functioning of this fountain is attributable to the construction of an underground acqueduct ordered by Marco Vipsanio Agrippa, and re-discovered only few years ago thanks to rebuilding excavation works. In this tour you will also be allowed to step down to the underground level to see the functions of the acquedutc systems and take pictures of this extrarodinary experience. Path can be narrow and slick, we recommend to wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Not recommended for claustrophobic persons.
