A cooking lesson in a typical Italian home in Milan with chefs Aurora ,the owner and her nephew chef Elisa . Menu can be: zucchini flowers filled with mozzarella,different colours tagliatelle with bolognese sauce,greeen orange and red potatoes gnocchi,tiramisu .We have six menu with four recipes each : fresh pasta from scratch,risotto ossobuco,lamb,fish,parmigiana eggplant and PIZZA and PANZEROTTI. Meet Aurora and Elisa at 10.30 am or 6pm in their home in central Milan . Over a drink and snack we first chat about the daily menu and get to know each other. You are then going to prepare four recipes from different Italian regions. Aurora and Elisa pays attention to choose recipes with ingredients that you can buy everywhere, not just in Italy. We will prepare as a starter fresh hand-made pasta such as tagliatelle, milanese risotto withsaffron,lasagna, gnocchi, ravioli and different sauces which are easy to do again at home (bolognese, pesto, fish sauce). Italy has a lot great vegetables so we can do filled eggplant or filled tomatoes or peperoni,caponata, asparagus,grilled radicchio,bruschetta. For the main course we will prepare meat( veal ossobuco,milanese, lamb or fish from another Italian region, yeast products (pizza, panzerotti, gnocco fritto) and for dessert we will prepare Sicilian cannoli, tiramisu, panna cotta or profitterols.
