Join us on our 3.5-hour early morning tour of the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums. With our exclusive early access into the Museums, you will not only skip the long lines, but also avoid the crowds and admire Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel before the general public. With our unique small group of max 6 participants, we will meet you no later than 7:30 am across the street from the Vatican Museum's Entrance. After a short introduction of the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo's beautiful frescoes done by our expert guides using visual aids, you will be entering the Vatican Museums before the general public to rush to the Chapel and admire it silently, respectfully and without the crowds (who are let in only at 9 am).The small group of max 6 people led by your incredible local expert will then loop around the Museums to include the greatest highlights of the Papal art collection. From the Pinecone courtyard, to the Apollo Belvedere and the Lacoon Priest of Troy, from the Belvedere Torso and the Gallery of Maps, without forgetting the Galleries of Maps and Tapestries and the incredible Raphael Rooms. Your 3,5 hour experience with us will leave you with a complete and satisfied feeling of the grandeur of this amazing art collection. After going through the Sistine Chapel a second time, and realizing how much more crowded it is during regular hours, your small group of max 6 people will then continue through the privileged guide's exit into Saint Peter's Basilica where you will enjoy Michelangelo's Pietà, Bernini's Baldacchino to the High Altar, the memorial of Alexander VII and much more. You will be left inside the Church for you to enjoy further exploration, the possibility of climbing the Dome, visiting the Papal tombs and exploring Saint Peter's Square for wonderful pictures.**As of January 2nd, this tour will also include visiting the Raphael Rooms! Enjoy the emptiness of the museum to fully take in the beautiful paintings and frescoes not often seen by tourists. This tour will include 2 of the best highlights of the Vatican - the Sistine Chapel and Raphael rooms - seen before the general public!ABOUT OUR 6 PEOPLE SMALL GROUP POLICYWhen you book a small group tour, you are guaranteed one tour guide per group of 6 people. Please bear in mind though that in order to accommodate traveling families and friends, we do on rare occasion make the exception of adding an additional one to two guests in order not to split groups who are traveling together. On that same note, you may find yourself on tour with less than six people. As we accept bookings in multiples of six, math doesn’t always work in our favor to help accommodate individual travelers and their families when on the same tour, so we hope you understand and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
