Day 1 Jerusalem There will be the chance to head out for an optional dinner with the group. Additional Notes: The international airport is in Tel Aviv (approximately 1 hour from Jerusalem). Pre-book a transfer from Tel Aviv to start your tour in Jerusalem. We also recommend booking pre-nights, should you wish to explore and visit the sights in and around Jerusalem. Day 2 Jerusalem (1B) Explore the old city of Jerusalem, walking through the Muslim and Jewish quarters. Visit the Western Wall and walk along the Via Dolorosa to the Holy Sepulchre Church. Enjoy the afternoon free to explore on our own. Included Activities: Old Jerusalem Walking Tour - Classic
Day 3 Jerusalem/Negev Desert (1B, 1D) Travel to biblical Bethlehem and visit the Church of the Nativity before heading to Duhaishe Camp for Palestinian refugees. What started as a camp has become a thriving town and here we learn more about the situation of the Palestinians in Israel and what daily life here is all about. Day 4 Negev/Dead Sea/Jericho (1B) Travel to Masada, and visit the famous rock fortress on a guided tour with our CEO. Opt to hike (or ride) to the top and learn more about this ancient place. Continue on to the fascinating Dead Sea. Cover yourself in the healing mud, bob like a cork in very salty water, or enjoy a little sunbathing on the shore. Spend the night in Jericho. Day 5 Jericho/Galilee (1B) Tour the Sea of Galilee area, including the Church of Transfiguration and the ruins of Capernaum. Also visit a local Kibbutz to learn about this interesting communal lifestyle. Included Activities: Sea of Galilee Area Tour Kibbutz Tour Transport: Private Vehicle
Day 6 Galilee/Nazareth (1B) Travel to Nazareth where we visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, one of the largest churches in the Middle East. Included Activities: Nazareth Tour Transport: Private Vehicle
Day 7 Nazareth/Tel Aviv (1B, 1L) Visit a Druze community for a local lunch. Continue to Akko and explore its colourful markets and old city before continuing to vibrant Tel Aviv. Enjoy an orientation walk in historic Jaffa.
