Be'er Sheva's central bus station is the Negev's most important bus hub. Destinations include the following:
Tel Aviv Central Bus Station (Metropoline buses 369 and 370; 18.50NIS, 1¾ hours, several times hourly)
Jerusalem (Egged bus 470; 34NIS, 1¾ hours, three times an hour)
Mitzpe Ramon (Metropoline buses 60, 64 and 65; 15NIS, 1¼ hours, two to four times an hour) Via Sde Boker and En Avdat.
Dead Sea (Egged bus 384; 27NIS, 1½ hours to Ein Bokek, five per day Sunday to Thursday, three on Friday) Via Arad.
Eilat (Egged buses 392, 393 and 397; 42.50NIS, 3½ hours, every hour or two) Operates until late afternoon on Friday and in the early afternoon on Saturday.
Direct trains link Be’er Sheva – Merkaz Train Station with Tel Aviv (27NIS, 1¼ hours, twice an hour) as well as Haifa (53NIS, 2¼ hours, hourly), Akko and Nahariya. The last train on Friday leaves at 1.16pm in winter, 3.16pm in summer; the first on Saturday is after sundown.
