Mediterranean in Nazareth

The wood-fired oven at this well-loved restaurant, adorned with antiques and wine bottles, turns out Arab- and Mediterranean-inspired dishes such as aubergine stuffed with pesto and cheese, as well as excellent muhammar (Arab pizza topped with chicken and onion), hearty meat dishes, pasta and meal-size salads. Also worth trying: a traditional Galilean dish called freekeh, made with cracked green wheat.
