Itinerary

Day 1 Yogyakarta (1D) Arrive at any time. Transfer to the hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner. Included Activities: Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting Transport: Private Vehicle
Day 2 Yogyakarta (1B) Yogyakarta is very walkable, so a stroll around the fascinating bird market is always interesting. If silver is of interest to you, then a trip to Kota Gede to pick up a hand-beaten bowl or some fine filigree is definitely worthwhile. As the home of arts, this really is the place to take in a Wayang (puppet) show or a dance performance, usually based on the Ramayana story. Included Activities: Bicycle Rickshaw Tour
Day 3 Yogyakarta (1B) Enjoy an excursion to the Buddhist Temple complex of Borobudur, alongside a local guide. In your free time, opt to visit Kraton, an 18th century palace or Taman Sari Water Castle. Included Activities: Borobudur Temple Complex Excursion
Day 4 Yogyakarta/Surakarta (1B) Solo, also known as Surakarta, was selected by Pakubuwono II as the new capital of the Mataram Kingdom following the sacking of Kartasura in 1745. Ranking alongside Yogyakarta at the heart of Javanese culture, Solo boasts Kraton Surakarta, the magnificent 18th century palace and museum of the Royal Family, as well as producing some of the finest Batik in Java. Day 6 Surakarta/Malang (1B) Jump on a train and journey to the colonial city of Malang. Enjoy free time to visit local parks, markets, or temples. Transport: Local train (7.00-8.00 hours)
Day 7 Malang (1B, 1L) Take a scenic excursion to Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park by jeep to catch the sunrise. We then ascend to the top of Mt Bromo, part of the Tengger Caldera, the largest volcanic range in the area. Later, visit the volcanology office at Mt Bromo and meet with one of the experts who will explain how they monitor the volcano and discuss the 2010 eruption. Day 9 Ubud (1B, 1L) Free time today allows us to opt to enjoy a display of traditional Kecak dance or maybe roam the Gianyar night market for some local cuisine. Day 10 Ubud/Sanur (1B) Explore the spiritual side of Bali, following mountain roads through the jungle to visit Tirta Empul Temple, its bubbling springs believed to hold curative powers. Continue to Gunung Kawi, a Hindu temple complex surrounded by terraced rice fields. Eventually make your way to Kintamani, perched 1500m (4921 ft) above sea level on the edge of a crater overlooking Lake Batur, with active Mount Batur towering above. Arrive in Sanur this evening. Day 11 Sanur (1B) Explore Sanur and enjoy a visit to the southern beaches of Dream Land and Padang Padang and the clifftop Uluwatu Temple.
