Danau Laguna

North Maluku

Danau Laguna is a pleasant, spring-fed bowl lake with a lushly forested perimeter. When viewed from above (take the steep lane to the west of the lagoon), there are great views across the straits to the conical islands of Tidore and Maitara, as featured on Indonesia’s 1000Rp notes.
