The most sought-after attractions include the ancient megalithic relics, most accessible in Bada Valley, Behoa Valley and Napu Valley, all regions that are not actually in the park, but are protected by community cooperatives.

Remote peaks (some more than 2500m high), birdwatching (including the opportunity to spot hornbills) and lakeside villages are all worthy secondary visit agendas.

For tarsier viewing, head to Kamarora Village, where Pak Reiman has a small homestay and knows some good treks in the park.
