This 200-year-old building overlooking Kota's old Dutch quarter pulls crowds. It certainly looks the part, with its classy bistro styled with colonial decor, old parlour floors, marble tabletops and art deco furnishings. The jazz soundtrack adds to the atmosphere. There are better places to eat around the square, but for ambience you've hit the jackpot.
The large menu offers Asian and Western dishes, with a choice of small, medium and large sizes for the mains. Service can be slow. There's live music in the evenings, and in the afternoon on Saturdays.
