Rasta is the top traveller hangout for, well, practically anything we tried. Service is friendly, the space is bright and airy with pine tables and cane chairs or low-table cushion seating. And plenty of reggae too.
This rooftop restaurant has great valley views from its expansive patio, plus an inside room with low tables and floor cushions. The kitchen does a decent job on a wide-ranging international menu.
Just where the road ends, this old faithful fulfills all your carrot cake, apple pie and cinnamon roll requirements. It does decent coffee, shakes, breakfasts and momos too. Bookshop upstairs.
The tables are scrappy and the murals a little mix-and-match but the views are some of the best of all the Vashisht traveller cafes.
