We are planning to visit Rasjastan in 17 days this summer (july). We are wondering if we should hire a car with driver or use the public transport. We want to see as much as possible . We start in Delhi and want to go to Mandawa - Bikaner - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Udaipur - Pushkar - Jaipur and Agra.
I am not sure how long we should stay in each city and if there are more must see cities.
I will be happy to hear your thoughts!
Dear fellow travelers,
I've visited India twice already and this time I decided I want to visit the South, for the first time. I'll have some 11-12 days to spend there, in December. I'd like to hear your opinion, and if you have any advise or suggested change, about my provisional itinerary:
I'll fly out from Istanbul (Turkey) to Trivandrum arriving on the 4th of Dec. I'll spend 1 night there and I will go to Varkala (any advise about a less touristy beach?) and spend 2 nights there. On the…
We are leaving Southeast Asia and landing in Chennai. We have about 6-8 weeks that we have allotted to exploring. I understand that it is monsoon season but our location and itinerary cannot avoid it without significant back tracking. I am looking for help in creating an itinerary and figuring out where to go and what to see. We are budget travelers that are just exploring the world. We are almost 50 so major trekking is off the table. We like to stay in a place for 4-7 days and leisurely…
we plan for August / September treking in Zanskar, quiet untypical route, more remote.

I have read that someone is possible to buy in Lingshed - do you have more exact info what can be bought there? only some cookies or chinese soups or something more?
Is there some shop inPhotoskar?

Yes, I've done it: I came to India in the summer/monsoon season against every recommendation from the LP guide. But I'm here, so lets make the best of it!!
A few months ago I quit my desk job to travel. Now I've gotten some pretty exciting news: it's quite possible I'm to start working remotely, fulfilling my dream of becoming a full blown digital nomad.
I'm looking for recommendations on places where I can settle down and work from my computer for the two months I have left…

We're travelling to Kerala in December and planning to visit the Kanathoor Nalvar Bhoothasthanam Festival end of December. Anyone visited the festival in the previous years ? If so, where did you stay ? Did you travel to Kanathoor from the Bekal or Kasaragod area ? Any tips ?
I was wondering if anyone has done this tour? I've booked it already, but when it said private I still assumed it would be a small group, but it turns out it's literally just for me. As a solo female traveller I'm a bit wary of getting in a car alone with a total stranger for 2 days... so if anyone has done this tour or something similar please let me know!
I'm debating whether it's safer to cancel and take public buses from Jaipur to the temple but I'm aware that bus travel in India can…
