On this 3 hour city tour explore Udaipur, ‘The city of Lakes’, also called the Venice of the East. Explore the picturesque countryside on giant mountain bikes and cover the famous and beautiful Badi Lake. Visit a local school and interact with the school kids. Ride through the vibrant countryside, lush village fields and nearby villages.
Your day starts with a pick up from your hotel. Set off on an amazing day out in the ‘City of the Lakes’. Cycle around for a nice view of the Monsoon Palace, made by Maharana Sajjan Singh of the Mewar Dynasty to watch the monsoon clouds. The palace was used as a location for filming the 1983 James Bond film, Octopussy. Also, pass through the Badi-Lake, also called the Tiger Lake, which is a man made freshwater lake commissioned by Maharana Raj Singh in the later half of the 17th century. Afterwards, make your way through a small village enjoying the great views of the farms beside the road.Here you will visit a local school and get to interact with the school kids. Enter into a classroom and share some of your experience with the students. After the school visit, continue cycling towards the nearby farms and village. Meet the local villagers, get to know their rural lifestyle and strike up a conversation with the natives. You will pass through the several small villages and get an insight into the day to day lives of the village people. The tour finally comes to an end at the Badi Village, where you will enjoy some refreshments at an Indian home.After the tour completion, you will be transferred back to the hotel in an AC vehicle.
