This is that once in a lifetime event that cyclists around the world dream of. The expedition starts at Manali & makes you cross 6 passes with a maximum altitude of Khardung La (5602 mts). Each one of these passes is unique in their own stature: Bara Lachha La - one of the most loopy pass, Naki La & Lachu lung La are like Twin brothers standing just next to each other, Rohtang Pass is the most unpredictable and moody of them all, and last but not the least & the toughest to cross - Tanglang La (5360 mts).Overwhelming..right? Well there is much much more. Gata loops with 22 curves can send a fine chill up your spine when you see it from the top, Moray plains is one of the highest & coldest deserts in the world, snow laden peaks, rivers like Chandra-Bhaga & Indus, with trip culmination at Leh needs no intro which culminates your expedition in a perfect way. The cycling expedition starts from Manali with first day kept for reporting in Manali & hotel check in (exact hotel details to be sent later). This day is used for accustoming to your mountain bike & a small check ride around the hotel. You have to directly report at the hotel in Manali & pickup can be provided from Kullu airport or Manali bus station on request. The bikes used for the expedition are hardtail MTB with dedicated camping / support vehicle during cycling from Manali to Khardung La via Leh. Camping on twin sharing basis is provided during cycling & hotel stay in Manali, Jispa & Leh. We do not just focus on completing the expedition but also help you develop basic biking knowledge & skills like morning Yoga & evening stretching, assembling & disassembling a MTB. Our cycling leaders are advanced mountaineering course qualified, specially trained in rescue procedure and certified first-aid responders. We have high standard for safety norms & have mapped every region with an emergency evacuation plan and safety protocols. We focus on acclimatization & carry an extensive first-aid kit including oxygen cylinders and high altitude medicines.
