Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the famous national parks of India best known for large population of tigers. It lies in Umari district of Madhya Pradesh and got its name from a hillock located in the area. Spread in a vast area of 105 sq. km. it was declared a national park in 1968. It also hosts other animals like Hyena, Chital, Indian Bison, etc. The major attraction of the national park is tiger spotting in jeep safari. People visit it specially to see Bengal Tiger present here in largest population. You will enjoy the adventurous trip to Bandhavgarh enriched with huge biodiversity .
Day 1: Arrival Jabalpur - Bandhavgarh National Park [160 Kms/ approx. 3 Hrs] (L,D)As you land in Jabalpur, our driver will be present in the airport to receive and drop you at the booked hotel. Check in and spend a relaxing stay at the hotel room. Savour the delicious dinner and have a comfortable overnight stay.Day 2: Bandhavgarh National Park – Jungle Safari (Shared Safari) (B,L,D)Early in the morning you will be taken for jeep safari along with a Naturalist (tour guide) in Bandhavgarh National Park. The lush park is covered in thick envelope of Sal trees scattered on valleys, hillocks and plains. The landscape is mesmerizing with rivulets, vast stretches of open space, eroded rocks and Sal trees.    It is widely known for being home to largest population of Bengal Tigers in the world. Spotting species of tigers is its main attraction. For its rich population of tigers, the place has been highly active in tiger hunting by Maharajas in the past. It was later declared as Bandhavgarh National Park in 1968. The probability of spotting tiger is high here with the density of one tiger for every 4.77 sq km.The national park is divided into four zones : Magdhi, Tala, Panpatta, and Khitauli. Of all zones Tala is the richest one with highest tiger population and biodiversity.The national park is also home to wide species of other animals :  250+ species of birds, 80 species of reptiles, the Gaur or Indian Bison, Sambar & Barking Deer, Striped Hyena, Chital or Spotted Deer, etc. It is an excellent place for wildlife lovers with lots of varieties to see.After a rip-roaring experience of exploring wildlife you will be taken back to the hotel. Have scrumptious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.Day 3: Bandhavgarh – Jabalpur Airport (B)After having breakfast you will be picked up by the hotel by our driver and transferred safely to Jabalpur airport.
