In the centre of the Mall, Tashi Deleg has two interconnected buildings. The new one has Keylong’s best eight rooms and a delightful top-floor lounge with Tibetan-style seating, yoga terrace and great views. However, most rooms are in the distinctly tired main building with stark, bare walls, ageing bathrooms and degraded furniture.
The wi-fi is in the restaurant, nicely decorated with Buddhist imagery but also with a somewhat worn feel. The menu is wide-ranging (mains ₹110 to ₹260).
