You will be picked up from your accommodation in Reykjavík at about 12pm. Then, begin your 2-hour journey, making a stop way where you can buy lunch and use the restroom. You can enjoy the views along the spectacular South coast with ash mountains, waterfalls, and volcanoes. Once you reach the final destination of Sólheimajökull outlet glacier, gear up at a parking lot and start the hike to the glacier. Spend the day hiking through the glacier and exploring crevasses and swell holes. Our guide will introduce you properly the glacial wonder world. After about 2 hours on the ice, make our way back to the parking lot. From there, it is a 15-minute drive to Skógarfoss waterfall where you will have a traditional two course meal with a magnificent view of the waterfall from the restaurant. After a meal, spend the rest of the evening hunting down the spectacles of the northern lights on the way back to Reykjavík.
